John P. Smith, DO

John P. Smith, DO. grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from University of Health Sciences / College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City. Dr. Smith completed a rotating internship at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Ohio and his surgical residency at Normandy Osteopathic Hospitals in St. Louis. Dr. Smith also completed a Clinical Nutrition fellowship at Ravenswood Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.

Jerry G. Gaston, DO

Jerry G. Gaston, DO is a native Wichitan. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from University of Health Sciences / College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City. Dr. Gaston completed a rotating internship at Riverside Health Systems and his surgical residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.

Bruce W. Thomas, DO

Bruce W. Thomas, DO grew up in Oklahoma and received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Oklahoma State University / College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a rotating internship at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and his surgical residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Thomas also completed a Trauma / Peripheral Vascular Surgery fellowship at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Dr. Thomas is a hospital based Critical Care Surgeon.



Jody D. Neff, M.D.

Jody D. Neff, M.D. is from the Wichita and Derby area. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center, finishing in 2000. Dr. Neff completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in 2005. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Neff has proudly served in the Army Reserve Medical Corp, including two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan.



Simone P. Culver, PA-C
Simone P. Culver, PA-C grew up in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. She received training in Surgical Technology with the United States Air Force. Ms. Culver spent 13 years working in surgery with the Air Force. She then went back to school and received her training as a Physician Assistant at Wichita State University. She is registered as a Physician Assistant Certified. Ms. Culver assists our surgeons by caring for our patients during their hospital stay, as well as assisting in surgery. As a Physician Assistant, she provides stability and continuity of care in our practice.

 


Jill M. Cozine, ARNP

Jill M. Cozine, ARNP grew up in Halstead, Kansas. She worked as a registered nurse in intensive care before receiving her Masters Degree in Nursing from Wichita State University. She is currently nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Cozine works predominately with Dr. Gaston to care for their patients and families in and out of the hospital. As a Nurse Practitioner, she provides stability and continuity of care in our practice.
